Dear Dancing Friends,
There are many dancing opportunities in the area, so keep an eye on our What's On listing. In particular we recommend the fun Friday Luckenbooth Circle evenings once a month at Bury St Edmunds. But also there is dancing at Norwich, Cambridge, Debenham, Beccles, Witham, Chelmsford, to mention just some of the places.
The next dance on our calendar will be our Christmas dance to live music on the 6th December. This will be an afternoon dance from 1:30pm. We will post the programme and more details as soon as they are available.
Classes have restarted at Bredfield (Woodbridge Group) on Wednesdays. Do check the details via the information links below.
Bredfield classes start at 7pm this term for beginners and improvers, and continue into the main class from around 7:30 until 9:30. Beginners are welcome to stay, but there will be more complex dances in the last hour. We have had several new dancers join us during the last year, and more are always welcome. Just get in touch. The first evening is free for you to try it out.
The Nacton class (Fridays) has also restarted, and this will be Gillian's 40th year of teaching the class! Class are on most Fridays from 7:30 to 9:30pm, excepting the third Friday of the month which would clash with the monthly Luckenbooth Circle evenings. See the Nacton class page for the schedule and more information.

Videos of dances
Many people now use the YouTube videos to help with learning new dances, or just refreshing their memory on old ones, and these can be found via links on the Scottish Country Dance Dictionary cribs pages. However, not all dances have videos, and that applies particularly to locally devised dances such as The Saxtead Mill, Gillian's Strathspey and Jim and Margaret's Jig. So the Woodbridge class has been busy filling a few gaps. Click on the button below to see what we have achieved!
The very best wishes to you all for Christmas and the New Year,
Libby Wragg
